HLB ENG started from Kyungil Yacht, a subsidiary of Hyundai Group in 1975, and entered the FRP ship construction field. Over a 48-year history, it has built about 8,000 lifeboats and special vessels, ranking first in the domestic lifeboat business field.
Based on this experience and know-how, we design and build various special-purpose vessels such as official vessels, fishery guidance vessels, high-speed vessels, patrol boats, patrol vessels, rescue vessels, surveillance boats, fishing boats, jet boats, etc. In addition, we are leading the future of safe ships by promoting the construction of hydrogen fuel cell ships, unmanned surface vessels, and electric propulsion ships for the future. In particular, the design and construction performance of 43 vessels including official vessels, fishery guidance vessels, and high-speed vessels are recognized for their achievements in the Korean shipbuilding industry.
